Is Value Investing Dead?

There is a MeetUp group for investors and traders in the area where I live. The meeting frequency is about once a month, where people will share their ideas, techniques, and trade updates. During one such gathering, a huge debate erupted. There formed two groups: claiming trading is a better way to make money, and some said value investing is the safest way to make money.
