Goal: To create an ultra-lazy core portfolio

1. Aimed to beat inflation

2. Long-term wealth creation

3. Ultra-passive

4. Low-churn

5. Well-diversified

6. All weather portfolio

I call it a Soccer Team Portfolio, and this is a series of articles where I pick players and build my team who play the game of investing. Note that this is an actual portfolio, and I request the readers to read the disclaimer before following this portfolio. Following is at your own risk.

US Markets are almost at an all-time high, and many investors are skeptical of investing now, fearing a market crash (or) a substantial correction. As a simple trend-following investor, I am keen on staying invested for the long term, and thus, I follow a systematic, rule-based investing methodology. Honestly, there is nothing right or wrong as long as investors follow proven rules and adhere to them without allowing emotions to brood over their thought process.

Given the current global scenario, I always ask myself two critical questions:

  1. Do I know when precisely the markets may crash?
  2. Can I predict the next one?
